We use a commonly available lightweight starter and heavy-duty CNC-cut 6061 T-6 aluminum brackets to create a starter assembly that bolts directly to the standard oil accessory case with no modification. This moves the center of gravity down and back for better overall weight distribution. Also may be an advantage for some aircraft where packaging is tight as it lowers the overall height of the engine for a more streamlined installation. Starter parts are provided as they come form your local auto store with no modification to allow easier maintenance and increased parts availability. Will be available with our rear alternator setup or the stock harmonic balancer.
